Nature Academy
Field trips at Eagal lakes are a great opportunity to teach children about the plants, animals and wildlife that consume the outdoors. Many children today do not have the same opportunities that most of us did with playing outside and experiencing the wonders of nature or recognizing the simple noise of a cricket. Eagal Lakes is proud to have the opportunity to teach children about wildlife, and we take pride in our efforts to restore the existing habitat on our property.
About Our Field Trips
Our field trips are designed with you are your students in mind. We hand out informational packets that explain the varying birds, trees and animal life on the property that the students may see during the day. They go on a beautiful trail walk that takes them through some of the most untouched areas of the property, while passing along the scenic views of the San Joaquin River as well as our bass fishing lake. Children are encouraged to identify the wildlife that they see along the way and always get excited when they detect an animal print on the ground. The great thing about field trips at Eagal Lakes is that children always leave with a new perspective, appreciation and outlook on the outdoors.
Our Goal of the Field Trips
The goal at Eagal Lakes is to empower the youth with knowledge of the local surroundings, teach them what they can do to protect the wildlife and most importantly, we want the children to have fun and enjoy this unique experience.
